Let's not forget that it is not just food here we're talking about, but also the drinks, amenities & other bizarrely-associated w/Gate Gourmet items we are going to be missing in F.
Edited to add- quite franky, re-reading other threads about 100k here & 50k there for Economy flights s/haul that went ahead anyways - then us F pax afterwards having the whole FIRST experience ruined - many of us 'once in a life-timers' getting a lousy 12k - well I'd be very interested in participating in any lawsuits that develop & contributing financially - should this be the case.

Tristan, please stop worrying about what might or might not happen on your honeymoon flight. Of course you want every last detail of it to be perfect, just as every couple getting married does. The thousands here that have been following your posts in every thread (as well as on the BMI board where I belong - well, perhaps, not thousands any more, in our case) are all praying like mad that everything will go fine on the day.
And the great thing is that it looks as if hot food is coming back, and that catering will be near normal (at least from next Monday, so in the worst case scenario - I forget exactly if it's this week or next you go - you'll get a good return journey, and an outward journey with sixty quid's worth of food and booze from The Caviar House to take on board) .
Things do go wrong. I can think of lots of weddings where something has done so and, in the end, it really doesn't matter. The couple were there with each other and there was so much to enjoy (each other mostly). If you spend all your time on board worrying that you've not had a 100% First Class experience, because you're pissed off that you didn't get a wash bag or a pair of jim jams, you might miss the 90% you do get. I can't believe you're already deciding ahead of time what compensation might satisfy
the missus for each detail of F service which
might be missing. 5000 might do for no wash bag? 15000 for no pyjamas? Perhaps just 2000 for the return, as all that was missing was some salad dressing?
I really do hope all goes well. But what's that about
for better, for worse?
