Using London as a comparable, I would have opted for Zuma, Hakkasan or Providores.
I can strongly recommend restaurant Zuid Zeeland. It's on one of the canals and serves great french / mediterranean food in a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent for business dinners, and good value for money. Classical, but not formal.
If you want something more trendy, go for CanalClub (part of a three-hour boat trip, very unique) or The College Hotel restaurant (typical new trendy place).
