I am an AS mileage member, and I get companion ticket certificates every year from the AS Visa card. When wife and I fly on AS, using the companion fare, we both get full mileage credit.

Now I am considering joining AA's mileage plan and doing a platinum challenge. I know that I can get AA miles on AS flights. But here's my question: If wife and I fly together on AS using companion fare for one of us, will we both get full mileage credit on AA?
