I am sorry to disagree with you, but at least in Portugal a company would have a very tough time getting away with that b******. Whatever they advertise is part of the contract, no matter if ithey omit it in the t&cs or not.

You just need to get a look at ba's website to see that the airline clearly advertises the in flight catering;
