I've always wondered if you could set up an AAdvantage account with first initial, lastname and then have family members with the matching names fly that way. ie, if I were married and my wife's name started with a T, we could get a single AAdvantage account with the name "T HAGALE" and every boarding pass/reservation would be made with "T HAGALE". This would work as long as:
a) the two people never had overlapping travel (which given my current trends would be impossible.)
b) new security regulations don't get passed requiring the full name of the flyer, not just the first initial.
hmm...I get the impression that you only date girls that have a first name starting with 'T'.... just so you can one day try this out.....
