Of all of the hotels I would recommend in SoBe, the two above are my top two favorite hotels on the beach, with The Tides being the top. I also enjoy the Delano and Shore Club. But the Delano is getting a bit overrun, and the rooms are atrociously small for the rates they're now commanding. As for Shore Club, their rates can be just down right obscene in the high season.
