Did not acheive Gold last weeked due to LHR problems-worth writing in to BAEC?
Hi,
I appreciate that there are a lot of people worse off than me stuck at LHR last weekend.
I was due to fly EDI-LHR-CGN-LHR-EDI ( on Fri/Sat/Sun) in club europe & H class domestic.
At 1440 tp's the outbound legs would have taken me to Gold at 1500.
Due to the problems I cancelled my flights.
Is it worth writing in to BA EC? I suspect the answer will be no and since I'm doing EDI-LHR-PRG rtn on the bank holiday I will get Gold then , but would have liked to have used the F check in in T 1 for the first time as well as the F lounge( as well as slightly more miles)
I'm not too fussed about it and in the big scheme of things it was a minor annoyance to me.
