I had this situation, and called every few days or so, or when I happened to be on for other reasons. This was for a flight in Feb. I had already booked, and accepted coach on one leg (LHR-FCO(bus), VCE-LGW(coach)). Persistence paid off as they were able to find the 'U' for the return several weeks ago. Seemed this agent did more "checking" than others.
