i place my pants on a wire hanger (with the cardboard tube on the long axis), hang the ties over the pants

next, shirts on hangers

then suit jacket/sport coats on top of everything

then a dry cleaners plastic bag over all

it folds neatly in 1/2 into my rollaboard

but- i then place a baggie over the wire hanger hooks to avoid damage to any of the fabrics due to rubbing

when i arrive, just hang it up and its fine!

(well, not really, but it wouldn't be a good story otherwise)
