But how many of these are on BA metal?

As I understand it, unless you make 4 tier point earning flights then these are worthless. I suppose a couple of Barra-Benbecula flights in CE (bookable on AA.com for £60 r/t though oddly not on ba.com) might be a cheap way of making the 4 flights.

Still not a bad trip for under £600, especially if stop-overs are allowed.
