Can I just check this as it seems to say you can do so but I'm too scared to try.

If I fly on a cheap BA J fare from HKG-EDI where the LHR-EDI is effectively in economy am I right in thinking that I cannot use the departure lounge but I can use the arrivals lounge? So if I have a 3 hour layover at terminal 1, I want to get myself to the arrivals hall?
