If you booked the trip on united.com, you should be able to get an e-receipt by going to Planning Travel -> My Itineraries and clicking the "past trips" link. If you purchased the ticket some other way... no idea. I doubt UA would mail you old boarding passes, though maybe they could provide some other proof that you actually flew.
