I have never quite understood this with BA...

If one reaches the threshold for Silver or Gold membership, and there are extra points beyond that, why are those "extra" points not part of the following membership year? Seems a tad unfair...

On a second note. If one gains status by passing the TP threshold, and then take another flight before the status refreshes, that flights should count towards the new membership year, no?
