Wow, is United charging for this service now? On my first trip to AU about 4 years ago, I booked a ticket to AU not knowing about the ETA and during check-in, check in agent asked me if I had the ETA. Upon finding out that I didn't, she went to the back and made a call. It was approved immediately and my boarding pass printed. All free of charge. Things must've changed since then.

Even though I called months before and gave them the info, for the two of us, they didn't have it. I had to pay $50 to get them from UA that day, so beware. Pi$$ed me off.
