I went back to AA.com to check it out, and the lowest fare is now coming up as $432.50 (down from $587.50 twenty minutes ago). Perhaps Priceline was just faster in updating their system, or maybe AA really does read Flyertalk.

At this point, I think I'll just book on AA.com, forget the $50 and be delighted that I've saved $155 per ticket on two tickets. I may play around on ITA a little first.

For someone with Plat (unfortunately, not us) this is getting into Mileage Run territory, 21,668 miles for $496.90 all-in, about 2.3 cents/mile.
