I wouldn't care about a DVD player for a Bne-Syd flight. I've had one once on a QF NZ-Aus flight (Jetconnect NZ), and it was nice but unweildy. For a longer trip, yeah it would be nice, but inconvenient esp. during meal times.

I'm not sure if I see Qantas spending the $$$ and time to upgrade the 763's. Aren't they due to be removed over the next little while and replaced?
