Just returned from a 3 night award stay. We were asked to wait about 15 minutes during check-in, but had same problem with rental car at the airport. Must be a Guam thing. We were in a standard room (#605) facing the Pacific Islands Club with the loud music during the daytime. Never had any problems when we got back at night, so decided to keep the room. There was a nice view of Tumon bay if you stood by the window or on the balcony. The room could use a renovation, but same can be said for most of the island. Location is on the south end of the hotel strip a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk away from the main (Japanese shopping) tourist area. The gym and pool were quite large and not too crowded. The tiny arcade room wouldn't keep the kids occupied, but the beaches certainly would. Actually had a good time on Guam driving around the island and finding secluded beaches for snorkeling. Was also nice to have a bit of Americana after being in Tokyo for most of this year. Not worth coming from the States for though. I'd also rank it a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star resort.
