I haven't stayed at either, but I spend a lot of time in Jackson and have eaten at both hotels.

The Wort is a classic hotel right on the town square with a western bar, ok restaurant and decent brunch. While it is a nice hotel, I think the best thing it has going for it is location and history.

The Rusty Parrot is a european style hotel with very good restaurant and spa. It is on a quiet park a few blocks from town square.

I guess it may depend on what you're looking for. If you want to come back from skiing every day and be able to walk out your front door to take advantage of the shops, bars and restuarants on the town square, then I would recommend the Wort. On the other hand, the Rusty Parrot is the kind of place where you can relax in your room and head down to the spa for a good massage, but will need to walk four or five blocks to the square or drive everywhere.
