I just checked a couple of mine, they have the correct name, i.e. Richard A. Smith.
They could give you hassles at the gate if your photo ID doesn't match the name in their computer. Also, Richardamr Smith sounds like a very suspicious person, I'm sure he's on the TSA do not fly list.
My first, middle, and last names are all common as both first and last names. One time, years ago (Midway Airlines) they booked me as last first, not as first last, I got to the airport; flight was overbooked and they said someone else was confirmed into my seat so I couldn't board. Took a few minutes to sort out that "last first" had the seat assignment, but my ID showed my name as "first last".
