I suspect the robot IS probably the same, but I almost always get right through to an agent when he is done, with little or no hold time. Also, the agent usually seems a cut above the average and pretty helpful. I've been 1P for years now (headed to 1K this year!) so I don't know how 2P service compares, but I suspect the agents get better as the elite level gets higher.
