Flat is flat, there's no "slightly flat" - but I think previous discussion was that the seat would not be fully horizontal when flat.

The airlines usualy address this by stating the incline offsets the aircraft's pitch while flying - but I am not sure that's entirely correct.
This is the good news many of us have been waiting for! (And IMO it does leave the 762s with the old J seats and pitch. Still nicer for a transcon than, say, a Mad Dog 80 or a 757 trireme. Maybe Mr. Garton can pitch the 762 product as retro by then.
