CoExp computers down on 12/24??
Today, I was 2 hours late arriving to my Christmas Eve celebration because my flight (CO3107) departed 2 hours late from CLE. (I was going to CMH, an 18 minute flight time!!) The crew told us that the computers in Houston were down, so they couldn't get the flight plan to Air Traffic Control. Was this a systemwide problem? Was it only a problem for Continental Express, or was the whole Continental system debilitated? Was there simply a problem with our flight? I was happy with the way Continental handled the delay: The pilot called catering to deliver beverages to us since there were no beverages stocked on the plane. I'm curious to find out if anyone else was affected.
