let me get this straight here....
there are entire tour/travel industries geared toward luxury travellers, GLBT travellers, adventure travellers, and, you guessed it, budget travellers.
Australia said that budget travellers in their country do more than luxury travellers.

imagine that, people who spend $40 a day contribue more than someone who spends $400 a day? It's because they don't stay in foreign-owned accomidations, eat at locally owned restaurants and stay considerably longer, as well as take up employment.
So knowing all this, the fact that budget travel is indeed a real form of travel, means it should be excluded since there's 'no proven demand' for it?
edit: i'm seriously considering running for the talkboard. There are so many user-unfriendly policies on here that it's absurd.
