I will be flying Delta Amsterdam - Atlanta - Bogota return in December. Transfer time on the outbound is 1 hour 55 minutes. I understand I need to complete full US immigration and customs formalities in ATL both ways. Some questions:
1) is 1 hour 55 minutes enough time to make the connection? (Tuesday in December)
2) Is there a DL drop-off for luggage just after US customs that works for these flights?
3) How's Delta in Economy class? Any favourite seats 767 (AMS - ATL) and 757 (ATL - BOG)
Thanks in advance.
1) Yes, enough
2) Yes, after customs you drop your luggage at the "connecting" belt (not for "Atlanta" belt. They will show you where the belt is anyway.
3) The 767 seat is 2-3-2. Try exit row, the 2nd one. I think it is 21. The 1st exit row does not recline ! The 757 seat is 3-3. Try exit row, the 2nd one. I think it is 27. The 1st exit row does not recline !
4) Request for hot sea food meal (if you like) for all flights. They (most of the times) bring the food to you 1st !
5) Get your KLM # to Delta. They are Skyteam !
Good luck
