As mentioned earlier, it is not the consolidator but BA that will not accept credit cards for these tickets. The consolidator does not have to "walk across to the airline office" any more. They can issue etickets (or paper tickets at a surcharge) like ba or an other travel agent, except that credit cards cannot be used. The same consolidator was accepting credit cards up until a year and a half ago when, for reasons best known to them, ba suddenly changed their policy and decided that they will not accept credit cards on these fares!
