Yeah, these two would get questions if I had to take them past screeners. They LOOK weird to someone who isn't familiar with basic test equipment, although both will turn on and measure temperature quite readily. The laser is an optional thing; unless you hold down 2 buttons at once it won't be visible. It does have a big sticker that says it's got a Class II laser, though.

I suppose I can call the TSA and ask if it would be an issue. I only need to get them there - my local colleagues in Austria can FedEx them back to me after my trip.
