I need to pull this trick in two weeks time when my (soon to be) wife and I take off on our honeymoon. It has me worried though as we are on a LONE4 and have added 2 flights MEL-PER, PER-SYD to finish our trip in Feb. next year and upgraded them to J using QF FF points. I can see trouble on the horizon already as this is what www.checkmytrip.com shows:

Traveler: MRSAUSSIE, BRONZED
Frequent flyer: Qantas Airways - QF2052xxx
Frequent flyer: British Airways - QF2052xxx
Frequent flyer: British Airways - AA6X44xxx
Frequent flyer: Qantas Airways - AA6X44xxx

Traveler 2: MRAUSSIE, BRONZED
Frequent flyer: British Airways - AA5X81xxx
Frequent flyer: Qantas Airways - AA5X81xxx
Frequent flyer: Qantas Airways - QF2321xxx
Frequent flyer: British Airways - QF2321xxx

Is this going to screw up our joint AA lack of challenge and will changing the segments in QP throw out or upgrades MEL-PER, PER-SYD if they mistakenly change the FF numbers for the whole trip ?
