I'm just checking in from the UK...I flew from EWR to LHR (coach) on a CO tickt last Saturday. The economy line was a total zoo so I went to the first class check in line to check in. There is a man standing at the end of the line who checks your tickets to make sure you are in the right line. I told him that I was CO elite and they told me I could check in here. He said 'Yep, CO says that all the time but we don't recognize CO elite'. He told me next time I would have to go to the economy check in but he let me check in there this time as there was no line there.

I agree about the seat pitch being tight...it got pretty painful towards the end of the flight and I'm only 5' 3". The Virgin flight attendants worked non-stop and were very attentive. I thought the entertainment system was good, not great..it seemed a bit dated to me.
