Those who like to compare AA and WN might want to check out the new thread in the WN forum (you can't miss it -- it's the one accumulating several pages per hour...) discussing WN's announcement today that they are adding capacity controls to all Rapid Rewards tickets (except Companion Pass).
The reason I mention this is that WN's FF program used to make WN attractive for short flights (I frequently fly WN intra-California), but their second-to-last real benefit over AA and the other legacies is now pretty much shot. (Their last benefit, thankfully still intact, is no change fee.)
