I noticed something really weird when checking my itinerary for a *Alliance Award ticket that I have coming up on Friday...

My routing is ORD-FRA-MUC-SJJ, with a return of FCO-FRA-ORD, with the across the pond hops on UA, and all else on LH.

The weird thing is...

I have paper tix for this itin. Yet!! when I go to "view" the itinerary on the ual.com website, there is a button that lets me see the "e-ticket" receipt. It is there, and appears to be a complete receipt. Very odd. Also, this itin. appears in my ez-chiken box on the front page as available (once it is 1-24 hours before flight).

Anyone else experience this? Is this as odd as I'm thinking it is; e.g. any other reason for it I'm not considering?
