As I very rarely either fly carriers other than Delta or check bags, I cannot recall the last time I checked bags on another carrier. I flew United this past week and checked a bag. It had the big yellow Delta Priority tag and the Delta platinum name tag as well. When I got my bag both of those tags were gone.
The same happend to me two weeks ago, when my bag was delayed on a Delta flight and then delivered by a United flight.
