I found this thread interestingas the one thing I collect is evening bags. I don't get to use them often but I try to pick up a new or old(at flea markets, antique fairs, etc.) when I see one that strikes my fancy.

My reason for collecting is to pass them along to my daughters. When my mom died I got all her evening bags. When I use one of her bags, I always think of her.
