I would have thought the opposite - most of the time I get that seat, it's missing the in-armrest tray table. If the front row seats would be too narrow, then why is this one OK? (I'm not complaining - I prefer the tray table when the flight is full, instead of having to ask my neighbor if I can borrow a corner of his - but if the middle seat is vacant, I'll use that one. The in-armrest table interferes with my conspicuous use of the added space)
