Tips on travel within Mexico, and places to stay? My daughter, 19, is flying to GDL for semester stay at U. of Guadalajara. She plans to stay at a youth hostel there. Any tips/tricks for travel in Mexico/Guadalajara and places to stay? I couldn't find any standard hotels (Marriott, Hilton, etc.) except for Crowne Plaza. She's leaving next Monday, Aug. 15.
