If we're allowed to count B-Cal, my first was when we moved to the South-East temporarily, when I was 4, and flew GLA-LGW. My Dad did his usual trick of turning up at the airport early and then getting us on a much earlier flight. What he failed to do, however, was get our luggage on a much earlier flight, so we spent 2 hours waiting at LGW arrivals... The details I remember most was being bought a bag of Opal Fruits to keep me going.
LHR-ORY were operated by BA and TAT/Air Liberte depending on the time of day. Thoses ORYs used to be packed as they were so convenient for travellers who lived in the sprawl that is south Paris. BA had flown there in the late 60 early 70s when they moved there from LBG - they then moved to CDG in March 1974. Yes, I remember F on all those routes even BCAL had a tiny F compartment on the 1-11-500s (not the 200s). The meal was cold - but utterly delicious. We even had a route from LGW to LTQ - and we did dronks or something. It was mad!

Now Him Indoors and one of my dearest friends actually flew from Croydon before it closed! Even if I had I would not admit to that!

Has anyone hear ever flown - just out of curiosity in a flying boat. Now they I gather were incredible.
