I think it WAS green but being changed over. I had my wedding reception at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington VA this past winter. Over the course of our wedding planning, the hotel was being renovated. The first walk through we had, EVERYTHING was green...corridors, rooms, banquet hall, etc.

By the time we actually had our wedding, the renovation was completed and everything that was green except for the actual View Ballroom was blue--corridors, etc.

I have noticed the same thing at some of the newer properities...seems like they are dark blue...and the older ones seem to be green. I think there will be a systemwide switch as renovations and new constructons take place. Just a guess.
