I liked the newness and cleanness of the HIX with the fridge and kitchen although the bed was medicore and the A/C very noisy. A lot of the stuff are fairly friendly such as Tina, Holly and the other Tissa? Generally I like it but it is not totally smooth sailing.

Housekeeping is somewhat problems at times, including one ocassion where I switched from a paid reservation to an award reservation staying at the same room and the clean person throw out my festival stuff including my festival CD. On a more recent stay, the high speed in room was out for a good part of a day 11am - 7pm and wireless was down from 2:30 to early evening. I was working remotely on a client's VPN and actually extended a day that day rather than going back to Ottawa since I had 2 meetings that were called for the next day and taking the train back and driving back round trip to Montreal next day for meetings was not really great but if I had known I could not work due to lack of high speed, I would have gone back to Ottawa or gone to the client...

I think the hotel still cater to more families since very few people complained about the lack of high speed or wireless...
