BTW, if people are staying for a longer period and want to bypass the valet parking fee, I took a walk around the hotel the last time I stayed there and there was a small parking lot in the street behind the HIX that has day rate for $4 and month rate for $100 and I think a weekly rate too. Depending on how long you are staying, it could work out decent for savings.
