Flying on LH the other week, I found the selection was the worst I'd ever experienced - there wasn't even one film I was remotely interested in. I ended up watching a cookery programme, a documentary on rich European royals, and then worked or slept for the rest of the flight.

Best selection I recall was on Emirates which had a ridiculous amount of big hit films plus a load of classics, and Virgin which was similar, but also had some pretty decent oddball art house style poncey Euro films
