I live in the U.S. and am looking to get to Gold Status on BA. I understand that if you live in Continental Europe you can get Gold status with only 800 tier points (versus 1500). I don't really know anyone well to arrange this with, so I thought that since there would be understanding people in Flyertalk, I should try this idea here.

If I would ever need to have anything forwarded from BA, I would compensate for that.
