Actually it might be easier to fly MSP-AMS/Europe then MSP-SFO because EU unions will not support US unions. The EU have more DC-10 / 747 mechanics who could use the work. KLM will probably up flights from Ohare-AMS and Continential/Delta could add a flight from MSP/DTW to their hub cities.
