It depends on what you are looking for!

The Westin Resort is my personal preference because the rooms are HUGE as most are really suites. There are decent restaurants and the shuttle service overcomes the distances between the buildings. If you are Plat, you will be well treated. and of course the golf doesn't get much better than Copperhead!

The draw back to this property is its proximity to anything. You'll need a car to get around. Plan on 30 minutes min to get back into Tampa.

The Sheraton Sand Key, is not bad, but a little tired and not a great value IMO. It reminds me of the Sheraton Resort in Orlando, as it is a 60's hotel that has been upgraded over the years, but is in need of a little work. The last time I was there was a~18 moths ago and my room did not have the Sweet Sleeper, but the desk assured me that all rooms were to be refurbed within 6 months.

FWIW If I needed to be in Tampa proper, I'd look at the Mariott on the River Centre. I stayed there last year and found it to be conveniently located, decent beds and pleasant staff.
