No experience with this particular offer. However, used to check out a number of those "free companion ticket" offers. Found I could do better by just waiting for sales. It might be a free companion ticket, but if the paid ticket is at a higher fare level, you haven't gained anything. But if they ever say the paid ticket can be any fare level, they'll get my attention. @:-)
