Ugh!!!
If experiences repeat themselves (e.g. AMTRAK California Capitol to San Francisco Bay area,) we'll be subject to endless inane chatter - "Hi! It's me! You know... yeah, Janie! You'll never know where I am - yeah, I'm on the TRRAAAAIN! Naw, somewhere, I don't know where. Wassup? Yeah? Cool! Well, like he said,... so then I went... and he like... so I went..." AAARRGH! Only it will be WORSE on the airplane with the very infrequent flier.
Expensive sat phones, at least, assured folks were calling for relativekly imprtant reasons, and the cost involved kept the pohone calls to a reasonable minimum.

The AC, the gate, pre departure and post landing are bad enough .. just wait until it is anywhere anytime.
I'm not sure if it is something about the BOS club, I have run into more than my share of jerks there too! AND when there was the Flagship in existance....
