As a Gold in 1999, I didn't fly enough to requalify for any Elite level. Instead of demoting me to regular OnePass member, I was only taken down to Silver. Not sure if that will happen now, though.

If it's that important to you, I'm sure you can check the Mileage Run board and scrape together the 8000 miles you need for Silver.
