The article pointed out an obvious conclusion that war would be bad for the industry. Obviously higher fuel prices and passenger fear of flying would be bad. But the rest of the article seems to be a bunch of quotes and opinions from different analysts, etc. The S&P analyst who ranked the bankruptcy potential is probably mostly concerned about the airlines' debt loads (on which most ratings agencies focus). I think the S&P guy's opinion is based on a very narrow view.
