I flew on one of these a while back - forget the route, sorry. The seats seemed relatively insubstantial - larger gaps between them than the usual ones. It's not that you have less to sit on, more that you feel less enclosed and shielded by the seats (so those pax who are inclined to pick their noses take note

) This gave the cabin a more airy feel, which I am undecided about.
My big beef with the seats was the storage space on the back of the seat in front of you. The storage at knee level was almost - but not quite - large enough to put a paper or magazine in, so these items had to go in a new pocket at eye level, where they were a little in the way.
Most of the seat back was hard plastic, so not really any flexibility in the pockets either (they were more like slots).
BA were dishing out surveys on that flight, so I let them know
This was in ET, but the CE seats appeared to be the same except for pitch and the dodgy middle seat table cover thing.
On the subject of food, I am a big fan of the CE breakfast, but always disappointed when they dish out a cold salad later in the day. Just to try and stay a little bit on topic...
