That's good to know. In January, I will be flying in Business class:

Since the greeters don't read SQ boarding passes but just look at the colours from a distance, I'll keep the UA boarding pass tucked away and carry the SQ HGK-SFO boarding pass conspicuously. Of course, that assumes that I can get both of those boarding passes printed ahead of time -- or at least the SQ one. I don't want to wait for the UA counter to open.
If, as rumoured, the greeters are replaced by an automated system, then I might be disappointed.
