I'd choose just one activity based on everyone's needs.

Inside or outside? The duck boats will be outside and possibly very hot for your UK guests. If they have the driver that we had this spring, it will be very, very funny and irreverant. If outside and cool is more appealing - how about a harbour cruise or a whale watch? Or a tall ship? http://www.libertyfleet.com/

The MoS can fill a day with either walking or walking/sitting (movies, planetarium). My nearly 10 year old recommends this choice.

I'd park the car somewhere central and leave the luggage in it. Have they reserved a car with a closed trunk?
