There has been a lot of re-branding in the Quad-Cities lately. As stated, the Hampton Inn Davenport is now La Quinta. The Hampton Inn Moline is now a Quality Inn/Econo Lodge (whatever that means), The Clarion is a Howard Johnson's, and the Signature Inn is a Ramada. A relative in the hotel biz says that a new Hampton Inn is to be built in the I-74/53rd St area, but so far no public announcements or evidence of construction.
